Quepos

Quepos is a small city situated on the Pacific Coast directly south of San Jose about 3 hours by car, 20 minutes by plane. Quepos has many fine restaurants, lounges, and moderately-priced hotels. It also has its own post office, bank, pharmacy, medical clinic, hardware stores, bakery, commercial ice house, and several grocery stores. Our outfitter in Quepos will pick you up in San Jose and include 2 nights' stay there for your travel days. Quepos has long held a repuation as one of the hottest spots for big game fish in the world.

Crocodile Bay Resort

Fishing at Crocodile Bay Resort is world-class. You will fish for sailfish, striped/blue/black marlin, dorado, tuna, and wahoo. This outfitter will also fish out of Costa Rica's Golfo Dulce for roosterfish, Cubera snapper, Jack Crevalle, bluefin, trevally, sierra mackeral, tripletail, and grouper. There are plenty of fishing options here including live bait, trolling, casting, and fly-fishing. This outfitter has a fleet of 39 boats easily-accessed via their 750-foot pier. This fleet consists of 17-foot flat boats, 24-foot center consoles, 27-foot offshore center consoles, and 33-foot strike tower boats to go along with the owner's 35-foot strike tower boat.
